Our Journey

The Timeline

Tap to Expand

01

The Foundations

1960s

Two independent journeys begin. Mahyco starts its work in hybrid seeds. Kanoria Chemical Industries begins chemical manufacturing.

02

The Hypothesis

2015

Research begins at ICT Mumbai. Can we create a superior soy isolate by combining seed genetics with membrane filtration? Pilot trials commence in Vizag.

03

The Proof

2019

Pilot Plant at Kanoria Visakhapatnam. 20 kg/day validates membrane filtration at scale, confirming NSI 87–88% and native protein structure.

04

Fytomax is Born

2020

Fytomax Nutrition Private Limited is incorporated. A Joint Venture between Mahyco and Kanoria committed to building domestic soy protein capacity.

05

The Commitment

2022

Land acquired at AURIC — Ch. Sambhajinagar Industrial City, Shendra. Maharashtra's landmark industrial estate chosen for infrastructure, connectivity, and sustainability.

06

The Build

2024

Ground Breaking at AURIC. The commercial plant — designed for 6,000 MT / annum — begins taking physical form.

Why It Matters

India imports over 95% of its soy protein isolate.

We're changing that. Domestic manufacturing means shorter lead times, no import duties, and no shipping volatility. Reliable supply, built close to where you make your products.
